Well folks, it's been a long time since I posted - we've been busy! I had intended a nice long post tonight, but it turned out to be
one of those nights, if you know what I mean. Actually the whole day was a bit of a wash, aside from a spontaneous let's-wear-the-kids-out playdate with Cole. Stella seems to be sick, and Maggie just has
issues. But no matter. At the moment Maggie is snuggled up on my shoulder (yes I am typing this entire thing with one hand!) and Stella is sleeping sweetly beside me. It took several hours of screaming and crying and frustration and a dose of ibuprofen for both kids to get to this point (Jonathan had a meeting tonight), but now that sleep has blissfully arrived I can't help thinking how darn precious and adorable these little girls are! I read this quote earlier today, and it was my mantra for the evening: "The days can be so long, but the years are so short." Cheesy, yes, but true. It seems like no time at all since my baby Stella was the one sleeping over my shoulder.
So anyway, it is late, and I am tired and bracing myself for another night with wakeful children (I have consolidated and put them both into bed with me, hopefully that will help a bit!). But here are some pictures from our trip (only a few unfortunately) and some others from the past 2 weeks. I bet Grandma Sandy is due for new picture on her computer wallpaper. :)
Stella and Ezra at the beach
Need a better picture of them in their coordinating outfits.
Self-portrait
Bathtime fun - they both LOVE joint baths.
(Mama loves sitting down while they entertain each other.)
Yes, she really is that adorable in real life.
Storytime!
I love Maggie's arm on Stella's shoulder. So sweet.
And now, some more photos by Stella. I realise no one else may care about her photography, but I sure get a kick out of her "artsy" pictures! :)

My personal favourite! :)

ALL your pictures are precious, including Stella's artsy one. Now, to decided which one is my background...
I love your "cheesy" quote - it is very, very true! Every time you tell me stories about the girls it reminds me of you, Anna & Todd :)
You know when both girls can have a bath together semi-unsupervised - that is the best! :) We hardly have to do much at bath time now, except watch for water getting on the floor and make sure they actually wash themselves. :)
Just something for you to look forward to!
That blanket Stella and Maggie are lying on for story time looks suspiciously like your kindergarten nap blanket. :)
I love that last one! Tell Stella that miss Keren sends her a big kiss and hug. Oh I just can't wait to meet Maggie! love you guys!
Hee hee hee, I like the last pic as well :)
