Look! She Blogs!!

Okay, now pick yourself up off the floor. It is really happening.

Before I post the plethora of pictures waiting (would you say I have a plethora of piƱatas?), there is one thing I want to say. This is shocking, I know, but there are actually two other people who read this besides my family, and one of them has just had a baby! So, even though she probably won't see this, congratulations to my friend Blythe on the birth of Penelope Jane!! (I know, the name is too precious.)

And now, back to our previously scheduled programming. Brace yourselves, we've got a LOT of catching up to do, folks!!

We're just going to go ahead and start with Halloween, in the hopes of keeping this somewhat manageable. I know you all will never believe this, but Stella decided to be a princess for Halloween. She has a Cinderella dress (a hand-me-down from the beloved Ani), so we went with that. Oh, and she picked the pink shirt to go under it. Because, everybody knows, princesses wear PINK. (Sorry about the blurriness!)

Maggie was some sort of fairy type thing. I felt bad that she didn't have a costume, so I used some material leftover from those super cheap Ikea curtains that you cut to length and tried to whip something up. I was actually pretty darn proud of myself for actually making her costume, even though it's nothing fancy! But the important thing is that she looks adorable no matter what she is wearing. See for yourself.

And because I know my mama likes to see her baby's face:

A few weeks ago (Nov. 17th) my precious Margaret Anna turned ONE. I still can't believe it. Now that she is one, she's decided that she is a big girl. I think she's fairly close to walking now. She loves to walk around holding on to your fingers. She zips up and down the stairs like it's nothing. Alas, she still has NO TEETH! But that doesn't stop her from eating anything and everything in sight. She gets highly offended if she sees someone eating without sharing with her.

Stella made a pilgrim hat in her preschool class. When we arrived to pick up the kids they were all sitting there with their little hats on. It was so cute.

Guess who took this picture? ;)

Birthday brownie.

No pictures from Thanksgiving (oops!). Jonathan's family came over, and QFC provided a lovely meal. :) The week involved numerous plumbing disasters which made me sooooooo thankful to be a renter. Everything is working properly now, happily. Skip to Saturday: Stella and Daddy got us a Christmas tree, we put on Evie and decorated for Christmas! (Maggie was napping the whole time and missed all of the fun.)

Here's a video of Stella decorating the tree, with a special message from Stella at the end (in her baby voice, for some reason...and pay no attention to the obnoxious man in the background). ;)

More videos to come, I'm having some trouble getting them to upload right now...

I love the name Penelope!

Maggie is a BEAUTIFUL baby. I'm looking at these pictures of her, and I can't get over how PRETTY she is!

I LOVE that "Come On Ring Those Bells" is what is playing in the background of the video! I'm planning to decorate my house today...
Thank you for the special message at the end :)
