This park has it all: playground, open grassy space, beach, train tracks, forest, apple orchard, awesomeness. First we went down to the beach so Stella could get her pants wet. We actually spent quite a bit of time walking along the beach, and lots of splashing.

When we went back up to the playground area, we discovered the Bubble Man was there! Oh joy!

We even saw TWO trains. Does it get any more awesome than that?
Choo choo!

Look, more gratuitous pictures of my adorable children!

Happy Baby!

And just because today is your super-lucky day, here is a little video. Sorry it's sideways, we don't seem to have any editing programs that will let me rotate it (at least not that I could figure out - Daddy is out of town this weekend). I think you will enjoy it anyway. :) I hope to get some video of both girls this weekend.

I have to admit (and probably confess to the Lord) my jealousy at your life in the Pacific Northwest- especially right now, when the air here is so absolutely gross! Anyway, you all look lovely and happy. Congratulations! And send some of that loamy, salty mist my way. I am in much need of it. :(
We love Carkeek! That's where we had Amos' first birthday party! I miss those beaches! And wow, you got to see the Bubble Man! Woohoo!
Your dad wanted to comment - "you're obviously raising your daughter correctly - she understands about trains and whistles". He got the watery eye look again when he watched the video - great job Stella!
Maggie hanging around in her sling is our current desktop picture - thank you very much.
I can't wait to visit Carkeek park!
